Description
Colossal Dynamic Scale. Zero Compression. Flagship Dialogue Precision.
The RBH Premier 821-C (also designated as the Premier 821-C – SF/R) is a high-output, reference-grade center channel speaker engineered to dominate large home theaters and dedicated listening rooms. Acting as the larger, more powerful sibling to the 621-C series, this massive 2-way center speaker is built for those who refuse to let vocal realism or dynamic scale be limited by the physical boundaries of a traditional room.
Individually hand-assembled and tested in the USA, the 821-C features a powerhouse multi-driver MTM (Mid-Tweeter-Mid) configuration. By combining dual high-displacement 8-inch reference woofers with a massive flagship Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter, it effortlessly resolves whisper-quiet dialogue, complex musical scores, and explosive, transient movie effects with absolute, uncompressed fidelity.
Key Product Highlights
-
Flagship 4.72-Inch AMT Tweeter: High frequencies are handled by an extraordinarily large 4.72” x 1” (120mm x 25mm) Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter. By utilizing a folded, ultra-lightweight ribbon diaphragm that squeezes air at lightning speeds, it delivers an incredibly spacious, smooth, and airy treble response up to 35kHz with virtually zero distortion.
-
Dual 8-Inch Reference Aluminum Woofers: Flanking the AMT tweeter are dual 8-inch cast-aluminum basket, black-anodized aluminum cone woofers. These heavy-duty drivers provide the vast surface area and physical displacement necessary to add massive chest-thumping depth, organic body, and realistic weight to movie dialogue and low-frequency front-stage action.
-
Steep 24dB/Octave Crossover Network: A highly sophisticated, premium crossover network centered at 2,200 Hz with steep 24dB per octave slopes ensures that both the dual 8-inch woofers and the massive AMT tweeter operate strictly within their optimal performance zones. This eliminates driver overlapping and prevents midrange muddying.
-
Heavyweight, Ultra-Inert HDF Enclosure: Built from premium, heavily braced High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) rather than standard MDF, the cabinet remains entirely dead. Weighing a massive 50 lbs, the inert cabinet suppresses mechanical box resonance, allowing the drivers to project clean, uncolored acoustic energy directly into your room.
