Description
The TT-15S1 is Marantz’s reference analog source, a high-end belt-drive turntable custom-manufactured in partnership with German high-end audio specialist Clearaudio. Designed to deliver pristine vinyl playback, it is built around a low-resonance, high-density frosted PMMA acrylic chassis and a 30mm-thick acrylic platter resting on an inverted ceramic bearing.
To eliminate vibration transfer to the stylus, the TT-15S1 utilizes a completely decoupled, “floating” AC asynchronous motor housed in its own isolated steel enclosure. Torque is delivered to the platter via a continuous, seamless silicone belt.

Tonearm & Cartridge: Equipped with an anodized aluminum straight tonearm featuring a magnetic non-contact anti-skating mechanism, pre-fitted with a high-output Clearaudio Virtuoso Ebony Moving Magnet (MM) cartridge housed in a resonance-damping wood body.

Accessories Included: Comes standard with Souther Engineering’s “Clever Clamp” to secure records flat against the platter, height-adjustable solid aluminum feet, a felt slip mat, and dedicated bearing oil.
